About Attorney Joseph Solfanelli

brings more than three decades of experience to his legal practice in
Scranton, Pennsylvania. In his current practice, he represents major
financial institutions, companies, and private business owners in business
legalities such as commercial transactions, reorganizations, and corporate
financing. During his long career, attorney Joseph Solfanelli’s clients have
included major textile manufacturers and the largest anthracite coal company
in the United States.

Mr. Solfanelli earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the
University of Scranton before completing his juris doctor at the Columbus
School of Law at Catholic University of America, where he was awarded
membership to the Columbus School’s prestigious Law Review. Prior to opening
his own practice, he served as an associate with New York law firm Whitman &
Ransom, specializing in complex litigation and corporate reorganization. In
addition to his work as a lawyer, Mr. Solfanelli has extensive experience in
the banking sector, previously serving as the executive vice president and
chief legal officer for Scranton-area financial institution First Liberty
Bank.

Outside of his professional life, Mr. Solfanelli is an arts enthusiast who
